Biografien:

Alon Ovnat (Jerusalem) Musician, singer, dj and a writer. Started his career in 1992 as lead singer of the rock-industrial band 'Diewelt'. Was a member in the 'Electronic Front' - live electronic performances. Now is a member of the Gaza duo which released already two albums in factrecords label. Also collaborates in Gdudei Elkazei; guitarist in Shabab el Kuds, electro middle eastern music and Tzalafei Zion, new Israeli music. As a DJ he mixes electronic and ethnic Israeli elements. Co associate to B12 which was a studio for contemporary art & music in Jerusalem.

Osnat Forschmidt (Jerusalem) runs the pub Rosa in Jerusalem and the label 'Shoshana', a documentation of mainly music performances at the Rosa pub, and is one of the editors of the magazine 'Miriam'. DJ (DJ Blondie) at the local revolutionary pirate radio station and in the duo 'Poalei Harosa' which was created at the Rosa. Osnat studied communication and German literature at the Hebrew University.

Shahar Cohen (Jerusalem) Shahar is a flute player, studied at The Rubin academy high school in Jerusalem, played and performed four years with the Jerusalem Ensemble for contemporary music conducted by Steve Hornstein. Graduated at the Sam Spiegel Film Institute, Jerusalem. His graduation film, "Minus plus", is a romantic comedy writen, directed and starred by him. It was screened in many festivals all over the world and won several prices. Nowadays working on his first independent film suported by the New Israely film fund. Bartending at the Rosa bar in Jerusalem.

Lia (Vienna) Vienna based graphic programmer, is working with the computer as an audio-visual programming tool since the early nineties. In the early days of web art she started the turux.org project and later the re-move.org site, which was recently awarded the Net Excellence award of distinction at the Prix Art Electronica. Lia has published her work in a number of magazines and books in Austria, France, South Korea, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Japan and USA. She has been a guest lecturer on several occasions in Brussels, Lausanne, Graz, Vienna, Porto and Barcelona. Lia's web projects, videos, installations and live visuals for @c have been presented at some of the major art festivals in Europe, America and Asia. Recently she co-curated (with Miguel Carvalhais) the online exhibition and the medialounge of the "Abstraction Now" exhibition, at the Ku_nstlerhaus in Vienna. Her visual work was featured extensively on this year's edition of SONAR 2004, Barcelona (for Ryuichi Sakamoto with the Orchestra Simfonica de Barcelon, Richie Hawtin vs. Ricardo Villalobos) as well as at the Ars Electronica 2003 (Iannis Xenakis, "Analogique A" played by the Bruckner Orchester Linz and by Otomo Yoshihide). Her recent collaboration with Sound Designer Sebastian Meissner is exploring the relationship of intuitive software based audio-visual compositions performed as a crossplatform duo.

Sebastian Meissner (Vienna) works as media artist, sound designer and photographer/filmmaker. Using a multi layered artistic personality (Autokontrast, Autopoieses, Bizz Circuits, Klimek, Open Source, Random Industries, Random_Inc) his works are dealing with randomness, historical music archives and strategies in establishing networks between artists. Over the years his audio-visual works has been presented by curators of international festivals and galleries such as Transmediale (D), Sonic Square (B), Podewil (D), Portikus Frankfurt (D), Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt (D), Festival for Jewish Culture Crakow (PL), Goethe Institute Buenos Aires (AR), Goethe Institute Ramallah (PAL), Kulturhuset Stockholm(S) and Forsythe Ballet (D + USA). Sebastian Meissner has been working for the Deleuze/Guattari influenced media label Mille Plateaux. He established the network platform Intifada Offspring which is looking for new perspectives on the middle-east region. His works are released by labels such as Mille Plateaux, Ritornell, Kompakt, Sub Rosa, Cro_nica and Beta Bodega. Sebastian Meissner has studied Education, Sociology, Psychoanalysis and American Cultural studies at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt/Germany. His recent collaboration with Digital Media Artist Lia is exploring the relationship of intuitive software based audio-visual compositions performed as a cross-platform duo.
